Co-founder & CEO
Ex-preconstruction lead at a top-25 ENR GC. 15 years estimating.

Priya Nandakumar
Co-founder & CTO
Ex-Autodesk and Procore. Computer vision on construction documents.

Daniel Okafor

Co-founder & CEO
Marcus Reyes
Marcus spent fifteen years running preconstruction for a top-25 ENR general contractor, pricing billions of dollars of commercial work across hospitals, data centers, and mixed-use towers. He built and trained the estimating team that turned bid sets into GMP proposals in days instead of weeks, and watched three different "digital transformation" tools fail because none of them understood how a real takeoff gets built: the redlines, the RFIs, the subcontractor quotes that land as PDFs at 11pm the night before a bid is due. After his best estimator quit rather than keep re-keying quantities by hand, he left to build the tool he had wanted his entire career: software that reads construction documents the way an estimator does, not the way a generic AI reads a PDF. He holds a construction management degree from Purdue and is a certified professional estimator. At Plumbline he sets product direction and owns the roadmap for every feature that touches a live bid.

Slide 4 - Founder Bio: Priya Nandakumar (TTA layout)layout: product_split · 16:9

Co-founder & CTO
Priya Nandakumar
Priya spent six years building document-intelligence products at Autodesk and Procore, most recently leading the computer vision team that taught software to read markups, sheet sets, and spec books at the scale of a national GC's document library. From the vendor side she kept hitting the same wall: every construction AI project got scoped as a research problem instead of a workflow problem, because nobody on the team had ever built an estimate under a bid deadline. She met Marcus at an AEC technology conference where he was publicly complaining about exactly that gap, and the two of them were prototyping Plumbline's document-reading engine within a month. She holds a master's degree in computer science from Georgia Tech, focused on document understanding and object detection. At Plumbline she leads engineering and owns the models that turn a stack of drawings into a structured, priceable takeoff.

Chief Product Officer
Daniel Okafor
Daniel spent a decade at Bluebeam building the markup and measurement tools that a generation of estimators learned takeoff on, including four years leading the product team behind Bluebeam's quantity takeoff workflow. He watched estimating software get faster at drawing polygons without getting any smarter about what those polygons meant, and left to build a product that treats a takeoff as structured data from the start instead of a drawing to be manually measured. He joined Marcus and Priya as the third co-founder six months into Plumbline's build, brought in specifically to make sure the product felt like software an estimator would adopt, not a research demo. He holds a civil engineering degree from Georgia Tech. At Plumbline he owns the product roadmap end to end, from the first document upload to the exported bid package.

Slide 6 - Mission & Vision (TTA layout)layout: mission_vision · 16:9
mission
Put an estimator's judgment inside every bid, from the first document upload.
Plumbline exists because preconstruction still runs on a stack of PDFs, a spreadsheet, and whichever estimator has the most hours left before the bid is due. We built an AI copilot that reads construction documents the way a senior estimator does, so commercial GCs can price more work, price it faster, and stop losing good estimators to the tedium of manual takeoff.
vision
The estimating department every commercial GC wishes they already had.
In five years we want Plumbline running inside every top-200 ENR general contractor's preconstruction group, the way estimating software itself became standard two decades ago. We're building toward a world where a GC's bid volume is limited by market opportunity, not by how many estimators they can hire and retain.

Slide 7 - Next Hires (TTA layout)layout: next_hires · 16:9
next hires
The five roles we're hiring next
01
Senior ML Engineer
Document-understanding is our core product bet. We need a second strong ML engineer alongside Priya and Andre to scale the models past our first three enterprise pilots.
02
Enterprise Account Executive
Our three ENR-400 logos were sold founder-led. We need a dedicated AE to build repeatable direct sales into commercial GCs alongside Sarah's revenue team.
03
Partner Integrations Engineer
The Procore and Autodesk marketplaces are a named distribution channel in our go-to-market. We need someone owning those integrations full time, not as a side project.
04
Security & Compliance Lead
Every enterprise deal now stalls on a security review before it reaches procurement. We need someone who owns SOC 2 and IT due diligence so that stage stops being ad hoc.
05
Implementation Manager
Jenna's customer team is stretched thin turning live-bid pilots into firm-wide rollouts. We need a dedicated implementation hire so onboarding doesn't bottleneck growth.
